On Friday, November 18, 2016 Heritage Middle School students had the opportunity to listen to and meet professionals from a wide variety of fields during their 10th Annual Career Day.
Nearly fifty professionals took time out of their busy schedules to come and spend time with the students and share facts and experiences about their chosen careers.
Speakers included business owners, authors, firemen, policemen, nurses, social workers, graphic designers and more.
6th, 7th and 8th graders were able to choose which sessions they could attend based on their current interests. Each session included an overview of their presenter's field and a Q&A session after the presentation.
Speakers freely discussed education requirements, salaries, rewards and daily challenges giving students insight into their chosen careers.
We thank the following speakers for volunteering to share their day and their careers with the middle school students.
